Athenacarehomes is a leading provider of residential care homes, and we are currently seeking an experienced Cook to join our team at Amberley Hall Care Home in Kings Lynn.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the catering services and residential dining experience meet the highest standards.

The estimated salary for this role is £67 per hour.

About the Role:
  • To work closely with the Head Chef, Sous Chef, and Assistant Chefs to deliver exceptional results.

Shift Pattern:

This is a part-time role worked on a rota basis from Monday to Sunday.

Main Responsibilities:
  • To assist in maintaining kitchen cleanliness and hygiene standards.
  • Guide and lead Kitchen Assistants to deliver excellent service.
  • Action internal and external audit requirements within specified timescales.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to achieve exceptional results.
Requirements:
  • At least two years' experience working as a Cook in a similar position within a kitchen environment.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team.
