About the RoleThis role offers a salary of approximately £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
You will play a key role in ground-breaking defence projects with values in the hundreds of millions.
As an Aviation Maintenance Specialist, you will work with industry-leading teams and stakeholders to conduct maintenance, modifications, and repairs to aircraft structure & mechanical systems.
You will also actively support continuous improvement ideas and activity to ensure progressive gains in efficiency are maintained.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- A recognised Engineering apprenticeship or relevant higher education qualification
- Experience of Engineering within a maintenance environment
- The ability to work individually as well as within a team across all functions on site
- An eye for Continuous Improvement
- Attention to detail and self-motivation
- Enthusiastic attitude, coupled with good teamwork & communication skills
- GCSE or equivalent in Mathematics and English
- Good knowledge of H & S Legislation and some knowledge of COSHH
