Sodexo is seeking a skilled Weekend Cook to join our team at Nelson House Approved Premises in Middlesbrough. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for planning, preparing, and presenting high-quality meals to our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and prepare meals for residents, ensuring a high level of quality and presentation.
- Follow recipes and cooking procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Ensure the kitchen and dining areas are clean and well-maintained, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Manage food inventory, receiving and checking stock, and monitoring portion control.
- Collect and record routine data, including temperature control during production, preparation, service, and storage.
- Report any accidents, near misses, or damage to the Catering Supervisor.
- Ensure the Catering Department is opened and closed at the required times and secured when not in use.
