Job Title: Signalling Power Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled Signalling Power Designer to join our team at Shorterm Group. As a key member of our engineering consultancy, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-profile signalling schemes.

About the Role:
  • Lead technical design and delivery of signalling power systems
  • Manage and develop a team of engineers to achieve project goals
  • Develop and implement bidding processes to secure new projects
  • Ensure compliance with Network Rail's Grip Design Processes and Procedures
Requirements:
  • Chartered Engineer or degree-qualified in a relevant field
  • UK Railway experience and knowledge of Network Rail's Grip Design Processes and Procedures
  • Appreciation of LV design techniques, EMC, Harmonics, and HV earthing systems
  • Knowledge of traction power and distribution of AC & DC traction power systems
  • Full UK driving license
