Product Governance Specialist

Join Cornmarket Group Financial Services Ltd as a Product Governance Analyst and take on a challenging role that requires strong organizational, communication, and project management skills.
About the RoleThe Product Governance Analyst will be responsible for assisting in the delivery of group protection scheme reviews, renewals, and acquisitions. This role involves working closely with the Product Governance and Controls Manager and other cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth operation of group protection schemes.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and coordinate group protection scheme reviews, renewals, and acquisitions, ensuring timely completion and accurate documentation.
- Generate and maintain accurate and relevant information on scheme reviews, data, statistics, and mailing lists for internal and external stakeholders.
- Compile and circulate quotation requests for scheme review and follow up on outstanding requests.
- Compare and consider quotes received, ensuring compliance with company policy, insurer standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide product information and guidance to the Life Department, including Sales Consultants, on group schemes such as salary protection, group life, and specified illness.
- Communicate regularly with stakeholders, providing clear, accurate, and concise information on the status of reviews, renewals, and acquisitions, customer documentation updates, and other quality checking activities.
- Manage mailboxes and respond to queries within service level agreements, providing ad-hoc administrative support to Life Services and Claims teams as necessary.
- Engage with the team to ensure smooth updates of existing group protection schemes and participate in operational change, training, and marketing initiatives.
- Identify and implement efficiencies and a continuous improvement methodology across product, sales, operational change, systems, claims, service, and administration processes.
- Work closely with the Head of Training and Product Governance and the Product Governance and Controls Manager to carry out other tasks or projects as required.

Requirements- Previous experience reviewing product documentation and summarizing clearly and concisely.
- Confident and capable with full Microsoft suite of applications, particularly Excel.
