Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist to join our growing team.

About the Role:

  • Perform inspections of raw materials, componentry, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Conduct root cause analysis investigations to address customer, supplier, and internal non-conformances.
  • Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct internal audits in accordance with company schedules.
  • Assist in implementing environmental management systems and initiatives to minimize our environmental footprint.
  • Develop procedures to support future certifications.
  • Maintain equipment calibration systems.
  • Monitor waste management practices and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
  • Develop health and safety programs to promote a safe working environment for employees.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of quality control inspections and test results.
  • Provide training and guidance to manufacturing personnel on quality procedures and protocols.

About You:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
  • Qualified internal auditor.
  • Previous experience in a regulated industry.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards related to quality, environmental management, and occupational health and safety.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and experience with quality management systems is desirable.

We offer a competitive salary of approximately £35,000 per annum, plus benefits.

Location: Brentwood, Essex, UK

Working Hours: Full-time, 5 days a week, onsite
