Healthcare Support Worker Assessor

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as an End-Point Assessor for our Healthcare Support Worker Level 2 Apprenticeship. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting assessments and providing high-quality feedback to apprentices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct end-point assessments for healthcare support worker apprentices, ensuring that they meet the required standards.
  • Maintain and update knowledge of the apprenticeship standard, assessment plan, specification, and recording tools.
  • Develop and implement effective assessment strategies to ensure fairness and accuracy.
  • Provide constructive feedback to apprentices, highlighting areas for improvement and suggesting ways to develop their skills.
  • Collaborate with other assessors and stakeholders to ensure consistency and quality in assessment practices.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A registered healthcare professional background or a level 3 apprenticeship or regulated occupational competence qualification at level 3 or above.
  • A formal assessor qualification (e.g. A1, assessor component to TAQA etc).
  • Experience working in a healthcare setting within the last 2 years.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
  • Able to assess and report risks, and maintain confidentiality when necessary.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work independently, with minimal supervision.
Benefits
