We are looking for a skilled Infrastructure Lead Engineer to drive the design, implementation, and management of our company-wide IT infrastructure. The successful candidate will oversee the development and maintenance of our networks, servers, storage, and cloud platforms, ensuring reliability, security, and scalability of our systems.

The role involves leading infrastructure projects, managing complex network infrastructures, and collaborating with stakeholders to define project objectives, timelines, and deliverables. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and virtualisation technologies (VMware, Hyper-V), as well as strong expertise in managing server and storage environments, including both Windows and Linux.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage the company's IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, storage, and cloud platforms.
  • Oversee the management of company-wide networks, including LAN/WAN, VPN, and wireless networks.
  • Lead the administration of on-premise and cloud-based server environments, ensuring uptime and performance.
  • Maintain compliance with industry standards and regulations, including GDPR, PCI DSS, and internal security policies.
  • Lead and manage large-scale infrastructure projects.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and virtualisation technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Proven experience as a Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer or similar role, ideally within a retail or ecommerce environment.
  • Strong expertise in managing complex network infrastructures, including LAN/WAN, VPN, firewalls, and wireless technologies.
  • Deep understanding of server and storage management, including both Windows and Linux environments.
