Job Details:
We are looking for an experienced Electronics/Laboratory Technician to join our team. As a key member of the School of Natural and Built Environment, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services to staff, students, and external collaborators of the University. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including the development of new research initiatives and the maintenance of existing laboratory apparatus.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support and maintenance services to staff, students, and external collaborators
  • Work on a variety of projects, including the development of new research initiatives and the maintenance of existing laboratory apparatus
  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver innovative solutions


Requirements:
To be successful in this role, applicants must have an HND/HNC and/or NVQ level 4 in electronic engineering or higher (or equivalent) and at least 4 years of relevant work experience. They should also have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Salary: £28,000 - £38,000 per annum, depending on experience.
