Job Title: KS3 Tutor

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate KS3 Tutor to provide tailored support and guidance to students with special educational needs in English and Maths at Key Stage 3 level.

Job Description:

As a KS3 Tutor, you will be responsible for creating individualised learning plans, delivering engaging lessons, assessing student progress, and collaborating with other education professionals to ensure students' academic success.

Requirements:
  • Relevant teaching qualification – QTS is desirable.
  • A degree in Education or a related field.
  • Experience working with students with special educational needs (SEMH, ASD, ADHD, Behaviours that challenge).
  • Strong knowledge of the KS3 English and Maths curriculum.
Key Skills:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Tuition sessions will take place in either the students' homes or local Community Hubs/Libraries, liaising with parents and other education professionals.

We offer FREE online safeguarding and Prevent Duty training to all our workers. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and subscribe to the DBS Update Service.
