  • Conduct pre-contract site surveys to ensure accurate project planning.
  • Collaborate with the tendering team to prepare quotations for clients.
  • Analyze resources and allocate them effectively in collaboration with the Project Manager.
  • Investigate and develop solutions to meet client requirements.
  • Select and purchase equipment to meet project needs.
  • Prepare reports to communicate project progress to stakeholders.
  • Define control system documentation to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Secondary Responsibilities:

  • Configure and program multiple PLC, HMI, SCADA, and telemetry systems.
  • Work with various industrial control systems, including Siemens, Allen Bradley, Schneider, and Mitsubishi.

Requirements:

  • A background in senior automation engineering roles.
  • Previous experience leading a team of automation engineers.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Relevant engineering qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Experience working in NEC 3/4 contract environments.
  • Knowledge of the water/wastewater industry is advantageous.
