About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Project Planner to join our team at HMNB Clyde, Helensburgh. As a Project Planner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of our Submarine maintenance projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain project schedules, resource plans, and risk management strategies to ensure project delivery on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, engineers, and stakeholders, to identify and mitigate project risks and opportunities.
  • Assist in the development of project management plans, including project scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Liaise with vessels, shore departments, and MOD customers to ensure effective communication and delivery of project outputs.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in project planning, scheduling, and control, preferably in a regulated industry.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
  • Experience with project management tools, such as Primavera P6, and a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • APM Project Fundamentals Qualification or equivalent experience.

Security Clearance

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
