About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable and flexible Support Worker to join our team at People Plus Independent Living Services. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting an individual with Autism to live independently and achieve their goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accompany and support the individual with social and recreational outings, promoting their independence and confidence.
- Work under direction to meet the individual's needs and be accountable for all aspects of your work.
- Be reliable, use your initiative, and be flexible to meet the individual's changing needs.
- Respect the individual's privacy and maintain confidentiality at all times.
Requirements:
- Reliable and flexible with a genuine interest in providing high-quality care.
- Good communication skills and the ability to develop trust and understanding with the individual and their family.
- Some knowledge and experience of Autism would be advantageous.
What We Offer:
- A competitive rate of pay of £11.44 per hour.
- Total weekly hours - 3.
- Day and time to be agreed with the individual.
- Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check required.
