Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at Empowering Learning. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work on a 1:1 basis with a academically challenging child in KS2, providing support and guidance to help them reach their full potential.
Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized support to a child with challenging behavior, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Work collaboratively with the child's teacher and other support staff to develop and implement personalized learning plans.
- Assist with lesson planning, preparation, and delivery, ensuring that the child's needs are met and their learning is engaging and fun.
- Monitor and record the child's progress, providing regular feedback to the teacher and other stakeholders.
- Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions to ensure that you are up-to-date with the latest teaching strategies and best practices.
Requirements:
- Level 2 qualification in Health and Social Care or a Teaching Assistant qualification.
- DBS clearance (dated within the last 12 months or on the update service).
- Experience working with children with challenging behavior.
What We Offer:
- A competitive daily rate of £85-£100.
- Regular CPD training opportunities, including Team Teach training.
