Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Climate Change Sustainability Expert to join our team at Eden Smith Group. This is a unique opportunity to work with a growing Climate SaaS start-up that has created a tool led by impact, not just compliance.

As a Climate Change Sustainability Expert, you will play a key role in supporting corporate clients in Marketing, Media, and Advertising reduce their carbon emissions. You will use a combination of thought leadership, your expertise, and a market-leading carbon platform to support clients' journey from onboarding to net zero.

You will be an expert in legislation and frameworks within the journey to Net Zero. You will work within the Climate Division, supported by the tech team and sales team.

Responsibilities:

  • Share sustainability best practice with clients and support them in understanding their environmental impact.
  • Onboard new customers and help them manage the collection and analysis of carbon footprint.
  • Develop sustainability strategies for clients, managing initiatives through the platform.
  • Collaborate with the team & Climate Director to develop the service offering.

Key Experience & Skills:

  • Passion for Sustainability and fighting climate change.
  • Demonstratable experience in a client-facing environment within the Media, Marketing, or Advertising sector.
  • Knowledge of the transition to Net Zero and sustainability best practice.
  • Excellent organisation and communication skills.

Desirable Skills:

  • Familiarity of net zero reporting standards or certifications.
  • Previous experience in climate-related delivery/projects.
  • Experience with environmental software.
