Process Development Engineer

Job Summary:
AESC UK is seeking a skilled Process Engineer to join our Engineering team in Sunderland. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering a specified zone from design to mass production.
Main Responsibilities:
- Represent the engineering department in all project phases, from initial design to mass production.
- Lead the development of a manufacturing zone, working with a multi-disciplined team.
- Develop processes from design to integration and implementation, attending design reviews and collaborating with equipment suppliers.
- Set and measure process performance to achieve class-leading results.
- Agree quality strategies to meet KPI and quality targets.
- Provide and approve process engineering documentation for standard operations.
- Plan, schedule, and manage projects.
- Procure production facilities and processes.
Requirements:
- Technical degree or certificate, or equivalent experience.
- Proven skills in process engineering, with experience in complex technical manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of current legislation and machinery standards.
- Experience working within APQP and IAFT frameworks.
- Ability to represent the engineering perspective in a cross-functional team and introduce cutting-edge manufacturing processes.
- Capacity to travel domestically and internationally.
