About the Role:

Aventa is seeking an Electrical Principal Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, planning, and executing electrical systems that meet the highest technical standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Electrical System Design: Undertake the competent engineering of electrical systems in accordance with specified procedures and plans.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise the activities of design teams to complete activities to the required technical standards and project schedule.
  • Estimation and Planning: Prepare man-hour estimates and planning activities for proposals and projects as required.

Requirements:

  • Leadership Experience: Significant experience of technical and team leadership within a project environment working in the Oil and Gas Industry.
  • Techincal Competence: Technically competent in all aspects of electrical engineering (Power, Distribution, Transmission).
  • Project Experience: Experience in Concept, Basic/FEED and Detail Engineering projects for Oil & Gas (on-shore and/or off-shore).
  • IEC Standards: Fully conversant with IEC standards and other International electrical standards, best practices, and value practices.
  • Software Skills: Experience with Electrical Transient Analysis Program (ETAP) and Microsoft Office applications.

Salary Information: The estimated annual salary for this position is $160,000 - $220,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
