Senior Specialist Clinical Oncology & Haematology Pharmacist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Specialist Clinical Oncology & Haematology Pharmacist to join our Pharmacy Team at the London Bridge Hospital, a leading provider of private healthcare in Central London.

About the Role

The successful post holder will participate in the delivery, management and development of a high-quality, proactive, cost-effective, safe and responsive patient-centric systemic anti-cancer (SACT) pharmacy service at London Bridge Hospital: Private Care at Guys.

You will work closely with (& at times deputise for) the Lead Pharmacist for Oncology and Haematology and other members of our multi-disciplinary teams to ensure that our patients are able to safely access the very latest treatments in oncology and haematology.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Deliver a high-quality, proactive, cost-effective, safe and responsive patient-centric systemic anti-cancer (SACT) pharmacy service
  2. Work closely with (& at times deputise for) the Lead Pharmacist for Oncology and Haematology
  3. Participate in the delivery, management and development of the pharmacy service
  4. Ensure that patients are able to safely access the very latest treatments in oncology and haematology
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. MPharm or equivalent (essential)
  2. Registered with General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
  3. Post graduate diploma/masters in clinical pharmacy or equivalent
  4. Experience in delivering a clinical pharmacy service to wards (essential, post-registration)
  5. Previous experience of working in Oncology
  6. Practical experience in an Aseptic Production Unit & GMP (essential)
  7. Mosaiq, BD Cato, Meditech knowledge (desirable)
