Civil and Infrastructure Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Senior Civil Infrastructure Engineer to join our well-rounded and dynamic team in the Midlands region. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading smaller schemes and working with senior engineers on larger, more complex projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in design within the Roads and Drainage sector, with experience in Flood Risk Assessment being an advantage. You will work on various schemes within residential, commercial, listed buildings, and high-rise building associated infrastructure.

About the Role:

  • A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field is required; a master's degree is preferred.
  • At least 4 years of experience in civil engineering with a focus on infrastructure design and project management.
  • A proven track record of successfully delivering infrastructure projects within budget and timeline.
  • Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Causeway Flow, and Microdrainage.
  • Drawing of SuDS, surface, and foul water drainage designs.
  • Working on and completing S184, S278 & S38 Highway agreements with councils.
  • S104 / S185 / 106 agreements.
  • Design of external levels and drainage.
  • Hardstand design and detailing.
  • Surface water hydraulic modelling.
  • Drainage strategies for planning.
  • 2D highway design to Local Authority Guidelines.
  • 3D earthworks modelling (training given).

Estimated Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
