Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Territory Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth in a specific region, with a focus on new business development and account management.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Materials Handling sales, ideally within the Forklift Industry. You will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, building strong relationships with customers, and identifying opportunities to secure new business and develop further business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive growth in the assigned region
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, including prospecting, appointment making, and customer presentations
- Identify opportunities to secure new business and develop further business
- Manage and maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activity
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure effective sales support and customer service
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Materials Handling sales, ideally within the Forklift Industry
- Strong new business development skills and ability to build strong relationships with customers
- Effective account management and development capabilities
- Commercial acumen and ability to identify opportunities for growth
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
