About the Role

NHS England is seeking an experienced Information Governance Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing professional records management advice, guidance, and support to staff across the organisation.

Main Responsibilities

The post holder will define current processes, facilitate discussions, and advise colleagues on how to adopt best practice in the design of future processes. They will also oversee the delivery of these processes and ensure that records are managed to the highest standards in each department/directorate.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Subject matter expertise across a number of key areas relating to records and information management.
  • Extensive knowledge of specialist areas acquired through postgraduate diploma or equivalent experience or training plus further specialist knowledge or experience to master's level equivalent.
  • Evidence of post-qualifying and continuing professional development.
  • Ability to negotiate on difficult and controversial issues including performance and change.
  • Ability to analyse complex facts and situations and develop a range of options.
