Finance Manager

£45,000 - £50,000 + Bonus + Benefits

We are seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable Finance Manager to join our team in Essex.

The successful applicant will be responsible for preparing monthly management accounts, board packs, cash flow forecasts, and maintaining key controls within the finance department.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Evolving efficient processes to enable the business to function effectively
  • Leading the completion of accurate P&L on working day 1 of each month
  • Preparing quarterly board packs
  • Assisting with budgeting and forecasting process
  • Preparing cash-flow forecasts as part of regular cash review process
  • Completing quarterly VAT returns and 6 monthly FCA returns
  • Managing office-based (Hornchurch) finance team, currently 3 people
  • Data analysis and new business reporting for leadership team

Requirements:

  • High level of Excel and financial modelling/data extraction skills essential
  • Part qualified/recently qualified in either ACCA or CIMA
  • Hybrid working - work from Hornchurch office at least 3 times a week; South-East based candidate desirable
  • Experience of working within fast-paced, rapidly growing business
  • Track record of working with business partners
  • Accuracy and attention to detail vital
  • Experience of Financial Services distinct advantage
