We are seeking a highly skilled and ambitious Finance Manager to join our growing team at MaxAd, an award-winning mortgage business based in Essex.

Our company has a strong industry reputation for supporting and developing highly skilled Mortgage Advisers. Our nationwide network supports over 300 Mortgage Advisers, while our head office employs over 50 staff.

Job Opportunity

This role will provide commercial insight and management information needed to drive further growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing the monthly management accounts and board packs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Management Accounts: Prepare accurate and timely management accounts and board packs.
  • Cash Flow Management: Manage and prepare cash flow forecasts and maintain key controls within the finance department.
  • Tax Compliance: Assist with quarterly VAT returns and annual statutory accounts and Corporation Tax returns.
  • Process Improvement: Evolve efficient and safe processes to allow the business to function effectively.
  • P&L Management: Lead the completion of an accurate P&L on working day 1 of each month.
Requirements:
  • A high level of Excel and financial modelling / data extraction skills.
  • Part qualified or recently qualified in either ACCA or CIMA.
  • Experience of working within a fast-paced, rapidly growing business.
  • Track record of working with business partners.
