We are seeking a skilled Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at the Southern Health and Social Care Trust.
Salary DetailsThe estimated salary for this position is £62,000 - £92,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Job ResponsibilitiesThis Band 6/7 clinical pharmacist role involves providing expert pharmacology advice to healthcare professionals across various settings, ensuring optimal medication use and minimizing harm. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting medication reviews to identify potential issues and developing strategies to mitigate risks.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes through evidence-based practice.
- Developing and maintaining guidelines for safe medication use, ensuring alignment with national standards.
To be successful in this role, applicants must possess:
- A degree in pharmacy or equivalent qualification.
- Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
- Experience working as a clinical pharmacist in a similar setting.
