About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Electronics Patent Attorney to join our team in Cambridge. As a key member of our Intellectual Property (IP) firm, you will be responsible for managing a diverse caseload of electronics-related patent work, including drafting, prosecution, and opposition.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Patent Drafting: Manage a varied portfolio of electronics-related patent applications, ensuring timely and high-quality submissions.
  2. Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their commercial objectives and providing expert advice on intellectual property management.
  3. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with attorneys and technical experts to deliver exceptional IP solutions.
Requirements
  1. Professional Qualifications: Fully qualified UK and/or European Patent Attorney.
  2. Technical Expertise: Specialisation in electronics or a closely related field.
  3. Proven Experience: Proven experience in drafting and prosecuting high-quality patent applications.
  4. Effective Communication: Strong client-facing skills, able to communicate complex technical information effectively.
  5. Business Development: A proactive approach to business development and client relationship management.
