IT Support Technician Job Description

**Job Summary**

MARS Recruitment is seeking a skilled IT Support Technician to join our client's team in Kidlington. As a 2nd Line IT Support Technician, you will provide technical support to users, troubleshoot desktop, telephony, network, and printing errors, and ensure compliance with Cyber Essential Plus and ISO 27001 policies.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Provide 2nd Line Support to users covering cutting-edge hardware, software, and infrastructure technologies
* Troubleshoot desktop, telephony, network, and printing errors
* Investigate software issues and carry out daily checks
* Ensure compliance with Cyber Essential Plus and ISO 27001 policies
* Support and install hardware, software, and mobile devices
* Administer servers and gain insight into infrastructure-based technology

**Requirements**

* Self-motivated, conscientious, methodical, and organized individual
* Excellent customer service skills
* Ability to liaise with clients at all levels of a business
* ITIL Foundation, Microsoft certifications, CompTIA A+ preferred
