About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Senior Dental Officer to join our Community Dental Service team. As a key member of our team, you will provide comprehensive dental care to our patients in Allerdale and Copeland, working closely with our local health and social care partners.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality dental care to our patients, including those with special care needs. You will work collaboratively with our team to provide innovative and effective solutions to improve the oral health of our local population.

Requirements

  • BDS or equivalent qualification
  • Registration with the General Dental Council
  • NHSE Performer List number
  • Not subject to open or ongoing Performer Investigation

Desirable Qualifications and Experience

  • Postgraduate qualification in Special Care Dentistry
  • Postgraduate qualification in Paediatric Dentistry
  • Postgraduate qualification in Sedation
  • Experience of working with special care patients
  • Experience of clinical audit
