Care Companion

About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Care Companion. As a Care Companion, you will play a vital role in providing personalized care and support to our clients, enabling them to maintain their independence and dignity.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide personal care that respects and protects the dignity of our clients.
• Promote independence by using enabling approaches and supporting clients to meet their outcomes.
• Support clients to connect with their communities and access local support and services.
• Deliver personalized care through individual choice and control.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and professionals, documenting and reporting information as needed.

Induction Training

We will provide comprehensive induction training to ensure you have the skills and knowledge required to excel in this role. Our training program covers topics such as:

• Our company values and the importance of going Above & Beyond to meet personal outcomes.
• Dignity and respect, safeguarding, and equality and diversity.
• Confidentiality and professional boundaries.
• Fluids and nutrition, safe administration of medication, and moving and positioning.
• Infection prevention and control, health and safety, and learning disabilities.
