About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Motor Fleet Underwriter to join our team in Leeds. As a Motor Fleet Underwriter, you will be responsible for underwriting profitable business while operating within agreed guidelines and authority levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with aligned customers and brokers, providing technical support and assistance.
  • Use a network of relevant stakeholders to deliver the widest proposition appropriate to the customer.
  • Work independently, within underwriting authority, conferring where appropriate on more technical and complex risks.
  • Have good knowledge of insurance product features and processes, as well as underwriting - Commercial Motor Fleet.
  • Have excellent communication, listening, time management, and negotiating skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a large complex organisation.
  • Have good knowledge of the FCA and other relevant regulation and legislation.
