About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health and Safety Specialist to join our team at pladis Global. As a key member of our HSE team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and safety of our employees, contractors, and customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on health and safety matters to project teams and site personnel.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to prevent accidents and incidents.
  • Investigate incidents and near misses, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Develop and maintain health and safety policies, procedures, and training programs.
  • Collaborate with site managers and supervisors to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
Requirements
  • NEBOSH or NCRQ certificate in Health and Safety.
  • Proven experience in a health and safety role, preferably in an FMCG manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety laws and regulations, including CDM, PUWER, and Work at Height Regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
