Job Summary

We are seeking an exceptional Client Portfolio Manager to join our team in the UK. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and managing a portfolio of accounting clients, providing expert advice and guidance to ensure their financial success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a portfolio of accounting clients, achieving client satisfaction and retention.
  • Plan and deliver work, providing effective leadership, supervision, and guidance to staff to ensure timely deliverables.
  • Demonstrate expertise in primary accounting frameworks and financial reporting matters.
  • Manage client relationships, maintaining good rapport and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Prepare and maintain full sets of books and records, including financial reports and VAT quarterly filings.
  • Provide consultancy advice on accounting, tax, and payroll matters, ensuring compliance with UK regulations.
  • Review and oversee the work of accounting and tax teams, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
Requirements
  • Recognised degree in Accountancy and/or equivalent professional qualification (ACCA/ICAEW/CIMA).
  • 5+ years of relevant experience, preferably with expertise in Group accounts.
  • Computer savvy with proficiency in Excel and Word.
  • Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Able to meet tight deadlines and proactive in problem-solving and client management.
  • Meticulous and detailed, with good knowledge and understanding of UK compliance requirements.
