We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff Canteen Chef to join our culinary team at The Dorchester Hotel. As a Staff Canteen Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality meals to our team members in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes for our staff restaurant, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner options.
  • Supervise and lead a team of Commis Chefs to ensure seamless service and high-quality food.
  • Participate in menu planning and development to ensure that our offerings meet the needs and preferences of our team members.
  • Maintain accurate records of food costs and inventory to ensure budgetary compliance.
  • Train and develop other kitchen team members to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Chef in a similar environment.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation and presentation.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills to effectively lead and motivate a team.
