About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Estates Officer - Building to join our team at NTW Solutions Limited. As a key member of our Estates department, you will be responsible for managing, implementing, and being accountable for building maintenance, legislation compliance, and capital/minor works schemes in designated Trust properties.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage and implement building maintenance and capital/minor works schemes in designated Trust properties.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislations, including H&S at Work Regulations, COSHH, and other legislation related to Estates issues.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, including Trust staff and management.
  • Provide expert advice on Estates-related matters to Trust staff and management.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of Estates strategies and policies.

Person Specification

We are looking for an individual with the following skills and experience:

  • A recognized apprenticeship in an appropriate discipline and an in-depth understanding of Estates services in a hospital environment.
  • Experience of building design and construction, health and safety legislation, and risk assessments.
  • A Higher National Certificate or equivalent in a building or construction discipline.
