About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Building Services Engineer to join our expanding team at Andrews Recruitment Group. In this role, you will be responsible for the design and contract supervision of electrical building services on a range of complex and highly technical projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop conceptual and detailed electrical design solutions that meet client briefs and adhere to UK Building Regulations and Design Standards.
  • Carry out detailed electrical services design and calculations using design software such as Amtech, Hevacomp, IES, Relux, Dialux, or similar tools.
  • Conduct technical and quality reviews of project information to ensure high standards are maintained and provide specialist technical advice and guidance at both project and group levels.
  • Produce electrical specifications, schedules, reports, and technical papers, and assist in the preparation of fee submissions and project bids.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to secure repeat business and contribute to a diverse range of exciting projects.
Requirements
  • HNC/Degree in Building Services, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
  • Working toward Chartered Engineer status or equivalent, with membership in professional institutions such as CIBSE or IET highly desirable.
  • Registration with the Engineering Council is preferred, with proficiency in design software such as Amtech, Hevacomp/IES, AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office.
