About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join our team at Robinson Financial Careers, a national, Chartered Wealth Management Firm. This is an outstanding opportunity for a serious individual looking for a clear path to Chartered Adviser Status.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise with various providers to gather and correlate plan/policy information, ensuring a smooth and timely business process.
  • Manage and maintain precise records of pipeline and submitted business to update clients and Advisers accordingly.
  • Collate and evaluate client policy/investment/pension information.
  • Write suitability reports and research products and funds using software such as Select A Pension, FE Analytics, and Defaqto.
  • Create and maintain client files and enter details onto back-office databases.
  • Liaise with Trainee Paraplanners and submit business on internal and external systems.
  • Prepare paperwork and process new business submissions to Business Quality.
  • Liaise with stakeholders from compliance departments to external providers.
Requirements
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with IFAs and the rest of the team.
  • Previous experience in a similar role within a financial services business (minimum 1-3 years).
  • Diploma qualified or working towards.
  • Understanding of the Financial Planning process.
  • Able to work within defined business processes and achieve agreed outcomes without supervision.
  • Prioritise and plan own workload, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise effectively, with good IT skills and report writing skills.
  • Experience in writing complex and detailed reports for cases and assessing information, making comparisons, and identifying critical features.
  • Ability to acquire, update, and apply new skills and knowledge, with a proficient knowledge of Pensions and retirement planning, Investments, tax planning, and regulation within the financial services industry.
