**Role Description**

This exciting opportunity exists for a skilled Biomedical Scientist to contribute to the success of our Microbiology Department. You will be responsible for conducting daily laboratory activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

**Responsibilities and Accountabilities**

  • Laboratory testing and analysis: Perform routine microbiological tests, interpret results, and provide recommendations for patient care.
  • Quality control and assurance: Participate in quality control initiatives, maintain accurate records, and contribute to quality improvement projects.
  • Staff development and training: Engage in ongoing education and training programs to enhance skills and knowledge within the department.

**Essential Requirements**

  • Post-qualification UK laboratory experience, preferably within a similar setting.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and guidelines, including UKAS and ISO 15189.

**Salary and Benefits**
