Accounting Assistant

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Accountant to join our team at Stoneacre Motor Group. As an Assistant Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting the Branch Accountant and contributing to the success of our business.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with daily accounting operations, including cash, bank, purchase ledger, and sales ledger functions.
- Produce various accounting reports, including weekly vehicle profits, debtor reports, and forecasts.
- Perform month-end reconciliations and control manufacturer bonus debts.
- Reconcile key accrual accounts and control debtor and stock control accounts.
About You
- AAT part-qualified or relevant practical experience.
- Experience within the motor industry, preferably with Kerridge software.
- Candidates seeking their first move into industry will also be considered.
