Job Description

A highly sought-after school in West London is looking to secure Academic Mentors for an ongoing full-time assignment. As a key member of the team, you will provide guidance and support to students, helping them achieve academic excellence.

About the School

This secondary school has 1100 students on roll and is significantly over-subscribed year on year. The school's aim is to help students grow in confidence through all areas of school life.

Main Duties:
  1. Provide one-to-one and small group interventions for children struggling in core subjects, aiming to raise attainment.
  2. Coach students on academic and pastoral topics, promoting their overall development.
Requirements

The successful candidate will have some experience working with children in a tutoring capacity or a relevant degree (English, Maths, or Science). This role is ideal for recent graduates looking to gain classroom-based experience before pursuing a PGCE.

Salary

The estimated salary for this position is £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
