Job Title: Academic Instructor in Mechanical Engineering

Job Summary: The University of Kent is seeking to appoint a Teaching Fellow in Mechanical Engineering to help deliver an excellent standard of education in our undergraduate Mechanical Engineering programme.

Key Responsibilities:

* Deliver teaching to achieve the highest standards of student experience in a variety of settings from small tutorial groups to large lectures.

* Adapt and develop teaching materials, and set and mark assessments providing timely feedback to students in a way that helps them develop their knowledge and skills.

Requirements:

* PhD (or nearing completion of PhD) in Engineering or equivalent professional experience.

* Expertise in Fluid Mechanics and / or Thermodynamics and Heat Transfer.

* Ability to deliver teaching to achieve the highest standards of student experience.

* Experience of teaching Engineering at higher education level.
