Global Accounting Network Partnership Opportunity

We are partnering with a sustainable technology company to source a Group Accountant. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Newly Qualified accountant looking to take their first step out of practice into industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Working on ad-hoc financial reporting tasks/projects as assigned.
  • Liaising with and advising subsidiaries on financial reporting matters, as well as others at a Group level.
  • Contribute to the monthly Group Operating Report (management accounts) to meet Board requirements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with group standards.
  • Production of reports as required, including information for financial control purposes and for Treasury, Tax and M&A departments.
  • Contribute to the half and full year consolidated accounts ensuring compliance with group accounting policies, statutory requirements and IFRS.
  • Reviewing and analysing submissions from businesses, partnering with the relevant finance teams to examine unexpected items.
  • Preparation of statutory accounts for UK subsidiaries mainly under FRS 101.
  • Assisting with external auditors in their audit budgeting.

Requirements:

  • Newly Qualified through an audit scheme such as Big 4.
  • External audit experience is essential.
