Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our Facility Engineering team. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering professional engineering services across our plant and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Producing modification packages and managing configured plant changes
- Identifying and escalating business risk or opportunities arising from the condition of engineered systems and structures
- Taking ownership of engineering issues or opportunities and delivering sound, safe solutions
- Providing advice and guidance to stakeholders, including Senior Leadership and Operations Management
- Adhering to Company Management System requirements and relevant Technical Standards & Legislation
Requirements:
- Experience in mechanical building services and industrial processes, including HVAC, water systems, and compressed gases
- A good awareness of relevant legislation and industry standards
- Previous experience in higher hazard or regulated industries, such as nuclear, petro-chem, or pharma
- A L4 NQF (HNC) with suitable additional experience or degree in an engineering discipline
