College Operations Assistant

About the Job

We are seeking a highly organized and flexible College Operations Assistant to support our Estates department at Educators Wales. You will work closely with the Estates Co-ordinator and other teams to ensure the smooth operation of College facilities, responding to queries and resolving issues promptly.

Key Tasks
  • To assist in the management of daily activities, including locking/unlocking buildings, monitoring building services systems, and reporting any issues to the Estates Co-ordinator.
  • To coordinate and assist with events, exhibitions, and other activities as required.
  • Provide administrative support, including data entry, record-keeping, and communication with staff and students.
  • Participate in emergency response procedures and support the Estates Co-ordinator during crisis situations.
Requirements

We are looking for a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual who can work well under pressure. The successful candidate will have:

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly and respond to changing priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications.
  • Fitness to perform physically demanding tasks.
Salary Information

The salary for this position is estimated to be around £22,000 - £27,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a range of benefits, including paid holiday, sick leave, and access to professional development opportunities.
