Main Responsibilities:
- Process invoices in accordance with established procedures.
- Review and process employee expenses, ensuring timely reimbursements.
- Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable, ensuring accurate and timely payments.
- Process domestic and international payments, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Analyze and report on monthly expenses, identifying areas for cost optimization.
- Prepare monthly expenses journal and manage petty cash, ensuring accurate and timely transactions.
- Prepare quarterly VAT returns and Intrastat reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Liaise with HMRC, internal auditors, and external auditors, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Engage with customers to maintain a focus on receivables, ensuring timely payments.
- Liaise with internal colleagues across different functions, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
- Prioritize and manage multiple work streams, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge and experience in accounting and bookkeeping, with exposure to UK FRS and IFRS.
- Degree-level education or equivalent in a finance-related discipline.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications, with experience in SAP being desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with overseas colleagues and partners.
