About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to take on a key leadership role within our trust. As Deputy General Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the General Manager in delivering high-quality patient care, improving service performance, and managing day-to-day operations across our Acute and Emergency services.

You will work closely with the General Manager and other senior leaders to develop and implement strategies that drive quality, safety, and efficiency across our services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the General Manager in the operational delivery of Emergency and Acute services, focusing on delivery of A&E waiting time standards, financial performance, governance, change, and business development.
  • Ensure good governance and processes are in place for monitoring delivery against all KPIs.
  • Oversee patient flow, resource management, and lead improvement programmes across our busy front-line services.
Requirements
  • Strong educational background and qualifications relevant to the role.
  • Substantial experience in healthcare leadership, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality patient care and improving service performance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues at all levels.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.

We offer a competitive salary of £65,000 - £85,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits, including access to ongoing training and development opportunities.
