About the Role

Lidl is seeking a highly skilled Regional Employee Relations Specialist to join our team in Deutschland. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for managing and advising on employment law issues and duties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and regularly update employee documents, including employment contracts, to ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
  • Design and conduct Employment Law Training for Executives to ensure they are equipped to handle employment-related matters.
  • Provide expert advice on employment tribunal representation and support employees with Employment Law measures.
  • Commission and coordinate external Employment Law advisers to ensure best practice and compliance.
  • Develop and implement Employment Law compliance programs, including training courses and guidelines.

Requirements

  • A legal qualification or CIPD Level 7 with specialist EL/advanced EL optional units is desirable.
  • Employee Relations experience, advising to middle management, and up-to-date labor law knowledge are essential.
  • Understanding of best practice and ACAS codes is required.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and people skills are necessary.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • A driving license is essential, and the ability to regularly travel within your geographic region is necessary.
