The One Group, a pioneering technology consulting firm in Cambridgeshire, is searching for a seasoned C++ Software Engineer.

This exciting opportunity involves crafting software for tangible products and devices, working within dynamic teams to deliver complete solutions.

Your key tasks will be:

  1. Designing and implementing embedded software and firmware for a range of sectors, including healthcare equipment and transportation networks, ensuring top-notch security.
  2. Developing edge-computing software for IoT devices, connecting them to cloud platforms, and collaborating with data scientists and engineers to create impactful IoT projects.
  3. Specializing in cutting-edge image processing, building fast data analysis systems, and creating interactive digital replicas using augmented reality.

You will collaborate with our diverse team of professionals, comprising software developers, electronics engineers, mechanical experts, and scientists.

To succeed, you'll need:

  1. Hands-on experience with low-level programming, Linux, and real-time operating systems.
  2. A strong foundation in areas such as embedded systems, sensors, IoT, medical devices, robotics, or virtual/augmented reality.
  3. Excellent C++ programming skills, preferably backed by relevant certifications or extensive practice.

Total compensation package estimated at £78,000 - £88,000 per annum, including annual bonuses
