Job Summary

The Production Team Lead is responsible for managing production flow to meet quality and customer demands. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills to ensure quality and development of future QAP leaders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage production flow to meet quality and customer demands
  • Work closely with the team to ensure quality and development of future QAP leaders
  • Communicate across multiple departments to drive improvement and monitor KPIs
  • Ensure employee and departmental compliance with QAP policies and procedures
  • Identify and coach employees on maximizing production throughput
  • Attend and participate in production meetings to evaluate management and department performance
  • Provide continuous coaching to engage and motivate the team
  • Foster a safety-first focus by conducting layered process audits and analyzing near miss and OSHA recordable data
  • Ensure production team is producing top-quality parts and work with management and operators to identify and resolve issues
  • Facilitate communication between shipping and production departments on product fulfillment status
  • Monitor production levels to fill just-in-time or add-on orders
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of managing experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as Excel and Crystal reports
  • Possess the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables
  • May be required to have a Forklift License and be certified as a crane operator, forklift, and power lock-out procedures
