**About the Role**

We are seeking a motivated and physically fit individual to join our Refuse and Recycling team as a Refuse and Recycling Operative. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting refuse and recycling from the side of the road, ensuring that waste is handled and disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operating a refuse collection vehicle to collect refuse and recycling from the side of the road
  • Ensuring that waste is handled and disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner
  • Maintaining accurate records of collection activities

Requirements:

  • Physical fitness and ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Basic knowledge of health and safety procedures
  • Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
