Job Title: Operations & Commercial AssistantWe are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Operations & Commercial Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our close-knit and entrepreneurial environment, you will be responsible for managing Anstar's entire supply chain, driving customer engagement, and improving operational efficiency and performance.
Key Responsibilities:- Supply Chain Management: Oversee the entire supply chain, including order processing, supply and demand forecasting, and stock management.
- Customer Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of products and services.
- Operational Efficiency: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance operational efficiency and performance.
- Data Analytics: Analyze data to inform business decisions, identify trends, and optimize supply chain operations.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, customers, and suppliers to ensure seamless operations and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in purchasing, logistics, and customer service.
- Industry Knowledge: Understanding of how distribution companies work, with insight into the chemicals industry.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in data analytics, with high proficiency in Excel, and experience with ERP and inventory management software.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Competitive Salary: £25-40k+ (negotiable, dependent on experience), with performance-based bonus.
