Learning Support Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Sandwell College. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with complex needs, providing individualized support to help them achieve their academic and personal goals.
### Responsibilities
* Work with students who have complex needs (SEN) and develop trusting relationships to support their learning and well-being
* Utilize strong behavior management skills to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
* Provide administrative support to the teaching team, including maintaining accurate records and preparing materials
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement individualized support plans for students
### Skills and Qualifications
* GCSE in English and Maths to grade C or above, or a recognized equivalent qualification
* Current skill levels at L2 in Literacy, Language, and Numeracy
* Minimum of a Level 3 subject qualification
* Teaching qualification (PTLLS or equivalent) is preferable
